In keeping with the Katy ISD Mission, we continue to strive to be the leader in educational excellence. To that end, your campus has been selected to participate in the Katy ISD GPS Bus Tracking Pilot Program. Global Positioning Systems (GPS) are navigation systems that allow the Transportation Department to electronically track buses. This pilot program will allow parents whose students are currently eligible bus riders to download the EDULOG Parent Portal Lite mobile app in order to track their child’s bus.

After downloading EDULOG’s Parent Portal Lite mobile app, parents can track their child’s bus and watch it move on a map while it is on its route. Additionally, parents will be able to locate their child’s bus in real-time and even set up ALERT ZONE notifications. Instructions related to the installation of the application are attached. You will need a “Campus Code” to access your child’s bus information. Your Campus Code is: 67048402

With this campus code, you can download the Edulog Lite app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Apple Store, follow the attached directions, and start tracking your student’s bus.

Many parents are dropping their students off on the street and then students are walking to the front of the school. We ask that you DO NOT do this. It is unsafe for your children and those driving on Ventana Lakes Parkway. The car rider has been empty as early as 8:05, and that is the safest way to deliver your student to school.

Thank you!

Teacher Appreciation Week is Coming!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week, May 6th-10th. We have an amazing staff at Bethke! This is a great time to let your child's teacher know how much you appreciate all they have done this year. Show them how much you value them!

Music Program and School-Wide Art Show on May 2nd!

It’s Time to Celebrate the Arts at Bethke!

Process, Performance and Product. Why?

Why do we encourage our students to engage in the process of creating, to produce a product and to perform?

  • Fine Arts develops our critical thinking ability where we learn problem solving skills.

  • Fine Arts encourages collaboration as we share ideas and materials.

  • Fine Arts provides opportunities to communicate in a variety of ways.

  • Final note…Fine Arts are fun!

Please join us on Thursday, May 2, 2019, for our

School Wide Art Show

and 4th grade Music program

5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Our celebration begins at 5:30 with the 4th grade Music program followed by an opportunity to browse through our school hallways and view our student art exhibit. Every student will have an artwork on display. Also, there will be a Treasure Map for students to participate in an art scavenger hunt.

As you stroll through the hallways you will see 3 chairs available for Silent Auction. Have your mobile device ready to place a bid on one of these chairs painted by our 4th grade Art Guild students. All proceeds will help support our budget for art supplies. Take a look here at their creative progress:

Awards Schedule

The schedule for awards is in our upcoming events. We will be modifying our awards ceremony and will only be recognizing a few of our awards in the ceremony. Not all students will receive an award during the awards ceremony. Each grade level will be hosting a celebration after the awards ceremony, which is where the majority of awards will be presented. Your child's teacher will be sending more information soon.
