Message from the Leadership Team.
Tuesday In The Know
I invite you to spend some time with your students reviewing the information found in
Tuesday in the Know. This is an easy way to contextualize your lessons with information about Career Exploration & Planning, Jobs, Educational Opportunities, Financial Literacy, Health Literacy and so much more!
Students can be added to the distribution list by emailing schnapsc@collierschools.com !
Email schnapsc@collierschools.com if you:
- Have any questions or need assistance with the information shared!
- Want to discuss your career, your next steps and your future!
- Would like to be included in the weekly email!
- Have suggestions about information to be shared!
Kudos
- Michael C. for adding movement into his lessons.
- Kirstie J. and Veronika B. amongst others for writing up a "chuncked" agenda on the board.
- Randi P. for following the IPC!
- Kirstie for having her students write in their notebook new vocabulary words while she not only tells them the meaning, but for the visual learners to see the definition written on a powerpoint slide.
- Marlene for leaving detailed lesson plans for our new substitute Tim Biro.

ESOL Instructor Resources
If you would like to participate in Red Ribbon Week, here is a great resource, Natural High, that one of our teachers, Khris B. shared with us. It consists of a quick video, discussion, questioning sheet, and fun activities that are mapped out for 5 days.
https://naturalhigh.org/red-ribbon-resources/ Would be a great warm-up!
Are your students arriving at 5:00pm?
Even if you have one or two students, engage them in a meaningful and relevant lesson. Ex. Conversation cards, journaling, review practice book, and/or use the MCA (Mulitilevel Communicative Activities Book): 20-30 minute lessons
