National Org for Victim Assistance
Calista Roach
What is it?
This organization was created to help those that are victims of crime or crisis. I chose this national organization because my mother is a victim of crime and I know how hard it is to go through such situations alone. The basis of this organization is helping people and guiding them to living a happier and normal life. It helps them to deal with things hands-on. Having to go through a lifestyle where you have once been a victim of a crime or crisis can really take a toll on you mentally and emotionally. This is a huge problem that needs your support!
PTSD
Statistics say that many victims encounter a time in their life where they may develop PTSD. This is Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Treatment for PTSD such as phsychotherapy can be costly. Please donate today to give a warm helping hand!
Support our cause!
Please take some time to become a member and reach out to victims and help change the world!
Victims
Victims of crimes and crisis are more likely to be more antisocial growing up. This could mean not getting a proper education or getting a decent job. This is also unhealthy for them and 9 times out of 10 they become suicidal. Many victims turn to self harm and/or are more likely to abuse their kids.
