Interchangeable parts was created by Eli Whitney during the 19th century. Interchangeable Parts are pre-manufactured parts that were for all practical purposes.
They had a major impact on American society. Eli Whitney used them to assemble muskets during the early 19th century. It also allowed unskilled workers to produce a large amount of weapons quickly at low cost.
Interchangeable Parts are still around today.
