WGHS Staff Scoop
2019-20
Let's get ready for the 2019-20 school year!
I hope you’re enjoying the last few weeks of summer and have made to time invest in yourself and others. I am excited to see everyone again in a few of weeks and even more excited to see students interacting with each of you in your classrooms. I wanted to share some important information as startup approaches:
- We are continuing the practice of connecting for a barbecue lunch together on opening day, August 6.
- We welcome new teachers and staff. The inherent rhythm of schooling calls for us to experience the challenges and rewards of change. It is my hope that the unrelenting resolve to serve students and each other, long ago established and entrenched at WGHS, continues to bind us together.
- As you peruse the Staff Scoop, please pay particular attention to the early August dates and the activities noted. It’s certainly been a very busy summer with much still to do, but with the collaborative work and dedication of our staff, I am confident we will be the school we aspire to be as we start the new school year.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to call me at 918-4122 or Mickey Erb at 918-4123.
Please recall my invitation to set up at time to come in if you are so inclined. Enjoy the remainder of your vacation. I look forward to seeing you all very soon.
Sincerely,
Matt
