Welcome
Here we are finishing the last 2 days of third quarter. We had started comic strips and I think we should continue except I am sitting here at school looking at all of your comic strips sitting on the shelves in the classroom. So, we need to start again but this time go simple. Keep your story simple and your pictures as well. Lets get it done by Thursday April 2nd at noon.
Stay safe and healthy!

Wednesday: Start (Restart) Your Comic Strip
2. Fold and Draw 8 Boxes: See Below
or watch the link for the video on how to make the Zine Book https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ixqr9e3wCxI
3. It would be best to write out your story that will fill 7 boxes on a different paper so it can be your rough draft, save a box or page for your title and name. Also remember that the story content needs to be school appropriate and your own original story (no copying)
4. Ready to use the final paper with boxes or the Zine Book? Go ahead and fill the boxes.
Thursday: Finish Your Comic Strip
1. Write your story clearly by tracing over your words with a pen or dark marker.
2. Keep your pictures simple with a little color if possible.
3. Make sure your pictures reflect what is happening in the story.
4. Please take a picture of your comic strip (you will have to lay your Zine Book out flat like the paper with boxes shown up above. Have will be upside down and that's okay.) This one you may need to email to me, not sure at this time if it can be posted on Google Classroom. If you know how then go for it.
Due Today at noon
Example: Eggman X-mas
Example: Introducing Patrick the Pickle and Carl the Carrot Show
Sample of Laying out Your Comic Strip with both Options!
Remember to have fun with your comic strip!

Remember all assignments for 3rd Quarter are due on Thursday by noon. If you have any late assignments from earlier in the quarter then please take a picture of it and email it to me. This includes your Bird Picture. The contest might be merely postponed so we don't want to lose your original picture.
Thank you!
