Schlegel Safari Newsletter
February 2022
Hello Schlegel Families!
February break is upon us. We hope everyone has a great time with their child(ren). The school was buzzing this week with the excitement of Valentine's day and the excitement of the upcoming break. Our students continue to show progress evident in our Data Dialogue conversations with the Schlegel staff. We encourage you to contact your child's teacher if you have any questions about their report card, RTI, or IEP progress notes. Parent conferences will be held in March. Your child(ren)'s teacher will be scheduling the conferences.
We have rescheduled Open House for Thursday, May 5. Please be sure to save the date as your child(ren) will be able to give you a tour of the school and show you their work! You will receive more information in April.
Lastly, please review the information Superintendent Brian Neenan communicates each week. He is keeping all of us up-to-date with changes in masking and testing requirements in addition to celebrating the wonderful happenings around the district. We are proud of the Schlegel Road Community for the ongoing support, respect, and CARE- it takes a village to raise a child!
Have an enjoyable break,
Dr. Francine Leggett and Kate Hesla
