The Falcon's Nest: A Pantry for Pennsbury Families in Need
Noelle Murphy, our school social worker, has started a pantry for all who are part of the Pennsbury community. Students, parents, and staff members whose families are facing financial hardships or life changing events may visit the pantry which is housed at Pennwood Middle School. If you are in need of food, hygiene products, school supplies, and/or clothing (we have jeans, hoodies, sneakers, and more in a variety of youth and adult sizes), please reach out to Mrs. Murphy who will make arrangements for you or your child to access the pantry. We have bags and cinch sacks to ensure discretion and confidentiality.
For pantry access or more information, contact Mrs. Murphy or your child's school counselor:

Principal's Message
Hello Pennwood families,
It is hard to believe that we are halfway through the school year. Pennwood has been a busy place the first half of the year. With students involved in sports, intramurals, clubs, and anything else we have to offer, the school has definitely been abuzz with activity. We are looking forward to the rest of the year with such exciting events as the play, 42nd Street, happening in March, the different winter and spring sports, band, orchestra, and chorus as well. Construction is finally coming to an end with the installation of a new screen and ceiling mounted projector in the auditorium and also the rest of the library furniture is arriving soon. In these cold winter months, please remind your children to wear coats, hats, and gloves. It gets really cold on the bus dock in the afternoon.
Thank you,
Derek Majikas
Principal
