Digital Citizenship
Officer Garner continued his partnership with the library to deliver Digital Citizenship lessons on the morning live stream during the month of December. These reminders were then shared with students in the cafeteria slideshow and on Facebook. We were honored to have Chief Kimberly join us as well.
Krimmel students enjoy pizza in the library as they participate in a webinar with author Jacqueline Woodson.
Over 50 students in grades 6, 7, and 8 signed up to learn about the award-winning author, her books, and her writing process. They were able to submit questions to the author ahead of time and participate digitally by "raising their hand" in response to her questions and asking additional questions using the chat" feature.
