Social Work News
Hello Southwest families!
I’d like to take the chance to update you on services that I provide to our students and families. As a school social worker, I strive to make sure your students have all they need to be successful at school and beyond. To do this, I provide individual and group counseling, coordinate resources like food and clothing, help during crisis situations, coordinate 504 plans, and work with students who have IEPs. Please contact me anytime with questions or concerns you have regarding your student’s wellbeing.
Erica Davis is our social work intern this year. She will be working with students and helping with all the activities above!

Here are general guidelines to use when determining if your child should stay home from school:
-Temperature over 100.0 degrees/any fever within the last 24 hours
-Vomiting within the past 24 hours
