- Direct access to over 6,000 additional titles with family-friendly prices at the Scholastic Store Online
- Every dollar you spend will benefit our school directly (25% back in rewards for every purchase!)

Year-End Technology Return
The end of the school year is rapidly approaching, and we want to communicate our plan for students to return the technology. This includes Chromebooks, iPads and T-Mobile hotspots. Soon, families will be asked to return devices and cords to school.
If you are concerned about any issues with the technology (e.g. not working, damaged, or missing parts), D11 has protocols for handling all repairs and replacements through the school. At the bottom are some common device issues with cost, and contact information for the school.
In Person Students
Starting Monday, May 10, we ask that in-person families send all technology to school, including power cords. Please return power cords in a baggie, if possible. Students will continue working on devices while at school.
Online Students
Your teacher will schedule an appointment for May 19th, 20th, or 21st to return your technology.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact the school at 328-4200. You may also contact Mrs. Schott at lisa.schott@d11.org

✅COVID Reminders❌
We need your help in order to keep school open and classes out of quarantine! Please keep checking each day to make sure that your child is okay to come to school...
- Check each morning to make sure that they don't have any symptoms (fever, loss of taste or smell, congestion, cough, etc).
- If anybody who has been in contact with your child is being tested or has tested positive for COVID please call us before bringing your child to school.
- When in doubt, call us! We are happy to help determine if your child is okay to come to school. Our goal is always to have every kiddo here EVERY day 😊
- Check the 'At Home Symptom Screening' below for more considerations.
Lastly, we want to thank all of our Howbert Families! Our success in keeping classes in session this year is a testament to the diligence and thoughtfulness that our community has had. We couldn't do any of this without YOU!
🚗Morning Drop-Off Safety🚙
- Only letting your child out in the designated 'KISS & GO' area or if parked in a parking spot. (this is SO important to prevent children from walking in between possibly-moving vehicles!)
- Encouraging children to quickly exit your vehicle within the kiss & go area. If you think you will need to get out to help your child out, please park in a parking space.
- Never double parking (parking behind an already parked car)
- Not parking in bus zones (these are marked for your convenience)
- Watching out for and obeying signals from our amazing crossing guards and staff.
- Bringing your child to the front doors if they are tardy (arrive after 8:05am)
