Arrival and Dismissal

Thank you to all of our parents who worked with us this week to make our carline arrival and dismissal run smoothly. All parents who are dropping off and picking up their children via the carline, should use Upper Barness Road and turn left into the Titus parking lot. We have been asked by the Warrington Police Department to utilize this route in order to keep cars from backing up on 611.

The safety of our children is our top priority and we are working with the district and Warrington Police Department to make sure everyone is safe while driving, walking, or riding their bikes to school. We are working on having supervision at both crosswalks on Barness to keep all bike riders and walkers safe to and from school. If your child is a walker or bike rider, please reinforce that they should be using the sidewalks to stay safe. We understand that construction is still occurring on Barness by the North Wales Water Authority and we are working to ensure that construction would not occur during drop off and pick up times.

Thank you for all of your patience, support, and cooperation.

Picture Day

All students were sent home with a picture day envelope on Wednesday, September 29th. Please make sure that on October 11th your child comes to school with their picture day envelope so that you may order their school pictures. Please note that we will be doing a class composite picture of all students in the classroom.

Virtual students will have the opportunity to have their picture taken on October 11th as well. Virtual students may come between 8am and 1pm. If you are unable to attend or do not feel comfortable coming into school on the 11th, virtual students may set up an appointment with C&C directly at their studio. Please call 215-345-1851.

4th Grade Recorder Information

All fourth grade students will learn to play the recorder! The students have already learned about the other instruments and are very eager to start playing the recorder! Students will learn recorders during weekly music class. Music will be provided for students in class, but they will also be expected to practice at home. The students will demonstrate their recorder skills during the 4th Grade Spotlight on the Arts Concert to be held in the Spring. Please see information handout below for more information and ordering instructions.

Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week takes place every year in October. As a district, we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week during the week of October 25, 2021. Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug lessons will be instructed to all students in grades K-6 by the classroom teacher during this week. An e-blast has been sent to parents and guardians on October 1, 2021.

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

It’s October and that means pumpkins are everywhere! Let’s take this fun, festive gourd and bring it into the library to show our love of books! Just pick a book, purchase a small-sized pumpkin (that you can easily carry by yourself), and decorate it like your favorite book character. You can decorate it, paint it, glue things to it, and add a lot of fun details. Do not carve the pumpkin. The pumpkins will be on display in the library for two weeks, and we don’t want them to rot or attract pests.

See information letter below for examples and the form to turn in with your pumpkin.

Race for Education

We have officially wrapped up this year's Race for Education! A great big THANK YOU to our parents and caregivers who donated and/or volunteered. Without you and the AMAZING students and staff at Titus, this year's event wouldn't have been a success. We are still crunching numbers and will post the results in next week's Tiger Times.

We deeply value input and feedback from our Titus parents, caregivers, and families. We ask that you please take a few minutes to complete a short survey regarding this year's Race for Education. Responses are due by Sunday, October 10th. Access the survey HERE. Thank you!
