Lakeview PTO Update and Invitation
• The recent Rock, Paper, Scissors event was a success!
• Plans for Educator Appreciation Week (week of May 8) - stay tuned for how families can help celebrate our incredible Lakeview educators
• Officer elections in May. If you are interested in an officer position on our PTO board, please follow the PTO Facebook page for more information
• A Milwaukee pretzel fundraiser will be starting next week
• Organizing for 5th grade recognition on June 6
• Upcoming Smencil sales before school on the playground
We need YOU! If you enjoyed even one event this year (one of our dances, Bingo, Rock Paper Scissor, and so on), that event was planned and hosted by the Lakeview PTO. Without family vounteers, these events cannot happen. We know what it was like during Covid to not have these fun, community-building events. And the funds that these events raise ALL comes back to benefit Lakeview. The Admiral's game was cheaper for every student because the PTO donated to it. 5th grade camp is cheaper for every student because the PTO donated to it. We have more books in classrooms, a new swingset, and pride in our school because of our PTO.
Our next meeting is Thursday, May 18 from 7-8 p.m. in the Lakeview library. Please consider helping us. It is our last meeting for this school year and we will be setting the calendar for next school year.
