Dear Pleasant Run Families:


It is hard to believe that March 1st is here! Special thanks to our Boys and Girls Club for organizing our Black History Month Open House. It was great to see so many families visiting the various stations throughout Pleasant Run.


MSD WARREN TOWNSHIP EXCEL PROGRAM FOR 2019-2020


Mission Statement: The EXCEL Program is designed to meet the unique academic and effective needs of highly talented students through a cooperative, enriched, and accelerated academic program where each person feels significant and appreciated.


The curriculum in the EXCEL program is differentiated and faster paced. Students will work above grade level.


EXCEL Parent Recommendation Form


The Parent Recommendation form must be completed by March 31, 2019.


As I shared last week, Pleasant Run is participating in a Climate and Culture survey program. This survey ask respondents about a variety of topics relevant to their experiences regarding Pleasant Run and Warren Township. Thank you for taking the time to fill this helpful tool out. The survey will remain open until Friday, March 15th.

PTA NEWS


Joining the PTA allows you to meet some great people. PTA functions are opportunities to meet other parents and teachers, to build rapport and discuss issues that are on your mind. You can share ideas, concerns, and experiences to make the school year better for everyone.


The mission of the Pleasant Run Elementary PTA is to act in the interest of the children, to encourage understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to promote programs that benefit the success of children’s learning. The Pleasant Run PTA supports education through active participation and advocacy.


Pleasant Run Elementary has a very active and supportive PTA. We sponsor many fun events throughout the school year. We also provide volunteers for many school events as well as provide support for school programs such as Super Reader, Breakfast with Santa and the annual fund raiser. Please join us for a PTA meeting to see what we’re all about.
