A Message from Mrs. Ralston
This Wednesday Conroe ISD will celebrate Read For A Better Life. CISD promotes a culture of reading by calling to action all adults within the Conroe ISD community to devote at least 30 minutes a day to reading aloud to children. We invite parents to send your child's teacher a recorded video of yourself reading a picture book. Please send your video into your child's teacher by Tuesday, September 21.
The "Can My Child Go to School Today?" chart has been updated. Please see the updated chart below. Thank you for your continued support.
For children wanting to eat breakfast at school, please remind them to go straight to the cafeteria when they arrive instead of going to their classrooms first. Our instructional day begins at 8:00 am and every minute counts!
Sincerely,
Melissa Ralston,
Principal

Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten Bus Riders - Please Have Your Bus Cards
For the safety of our youngest bus riders, Conroe ISD require parents, a designated adult, or an approved sibling must be at the bus stop to receive all prekindergarten and kindergarten students. Please have your bus card for the bus driver to see. This adds another layer of safety for our students. Thank you for your support and understanding. Safety is our number one priority.
An Update from Nurse Corbit
As a reminder, please do not send your child to school sick. The body temperature of 100 degrees is what Conroe ISD considers “a fever” and we send children home at that temperature. Children should be fever free for 24 hours without the use of medication before returning to school. This 24 hour policy also applied to diarrhea and vomiting. Please refer to the CISD website at www.conroeisd.net/Roadmap-to-reopening for up to the minute Covid 19 News and Information. Most of your questions can be answered there. Our staff at Giesinger is following these guidelines, too.
Does your child have an allergy or sensitivity to a medication or food? Please double check with the Nurse to make sure our campus is aware of this information.
As always, please let me know how I can help keep your child healthy and successful this year!
