The endocrine system is made up of glands that produce and secrete hormones.

Negative feedback causes a decrease in function. It occurs in response to some kind of stimulus.
Human body temperature - The hypothalamus of a human responds to temperature accordingly. If the temperature drops, the body shivers to bring up the temperature and if it is too warm, the body will sweat to cool down.
