What Is Family?

Family is people who you love and spend time with. Immediate family could be parents, siblings, grandparents or children. Extended family could be Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, In Laws.

Other Types of Families

An adoptive family is permanent family who takes care of a child when their legal or biological parent makes the decision to give a child away.

A foster family is a home where you live temporarily, sometimes with other related or non-related children.

A Guardian is a person who lawfully takes care of a minor or someone not able to make legal decisions.

Diverse families can be made up of people from different backgrounds, cultures and ethnicities.
