Prompt:
Explain if u agree with choices the characters have made in the book.
Original Paragraph
I agree with Addison's choices that she made about the flute but not about her concert choices. I agree what she did about her flute since it was the right choice. At Addison's old school she borrowed a flute from that school, then she moved to a new school and never gave the flute back. So technically she stole the flute. Addison didn't worry about that until the day of the holiday concert. At the holiday concert she walked in and saw her old music teacher, and didn't play in the concert, because she was to scared she was going to get yelled at by her old music teacher. I disagreed with that, I think she should have talked to her teacher then decided if she was playing in the concert or not. I do agree with one choice she made which was, the morning after the concert she walked over to her old school and set the flute on the front mat to return it. I agree with her decision because returning the flute to the old school was the right thing to do, even if she had to give up music. In conclusion Addison made some good and bad decisions about her holiday concert.
New Paragraph
I agree with Addison’s choices that she made about her flute, but not about her concert choices. I agree what she did about her flute since it was the right choice. At Addison’s old school she rented a flute. Then her mom and dad got divorced and her dad moved away. So she had to go to a new school, but she never returned the flute. So technically she stole the flute. but the school never asked for it back. Addison didn’t worry about this until the day of the Holiday Concert. When she arrived there she walked inside and saw her old music teacher. She started to panic and ended up not doing the concert, just because she was to afraid she was going to get yelled at by her old teacher. I disagree what she did. I think she should have went up to her old teacher, and talked to her about the flute and what she can do with it. Because she might have said that’s fine you can keep it or something like that. But instead she decided she wasn’t going to be in the concert, and I just think she shouldn’t have made that decision, a teacher or someone else should have. I do agree with what she did the next morning. The next morning she walked over to her other school with her flute, and set it on the front mat to return it to her old school. I agree with this decision because it was the right thing to do, plus now she doesn’t have all that pressure on her. The only downside is that she had to give up music. In conclusion Addison made some good and bad decisions about her flute and what she did at the Holiday concert.
