A Message From the Principal
A little about myself, I have been married to my husband, Brett, for 2 1/2 years. Between us, we have 5 "children," four of whom are out on their own. I am the mother of two wonderful young men, Michael 23, and Daniel 21. Both are completing their college degrees in Criminal Justice and hope to pursue a career in law enforcement.
My belief for our school is: "We are more than a school, we are a family." We have an amazing staff that believes this as well. I am looking forward to working with you to provide your child with the social-emotional and academic needs to succeed.

Meet the Teacher Night
Kindergarten Only: August 9th from 5:00 - 5:30. We will have a special Kindergarten Parent orientation in our cafeteria. Please use the back parking lot and enter through our cafeteria doors, in the back of the building (we will have a sign to help direct you to the cafeteria.) After a short orientation presentation, you will have the opportunity to go to your child's class, drop off supplies and meet your child's teacher.
Grades 1 - 4 Meet the Teacher Night will begin at 5:30 and end at 7:00. Please enter through the main entrance. We will have student names with their assigned teacher posted as well as staff throughout the building to help locate your child's classroom.
A few things to keep in mind:
- You may bring supplies at this time
- Please make sure your child's teacher knows how your child will be getting home the first day and any changes after the first day.
- Share any allergies with the teacher and Nurse Shawna
- Your child's teacher will be available to talk with you briefly. If more time is needed, they will schedule a conference with you for a later day.
First Day Procedures:
On the first day only:
- doors will open at 7:20
- parents/guardians may walk their child to their class on the first day only
- hugs, pictures and encouragement
After the first day please use the drop-off areas to drop your child off. We will have almost 500 students enrolled at Liberty. This means patience, grace, and understanding during drop-off and pick-up times. It may take a few days for everyone to get the hang of the procedures. I promise the lines will move quickly and we will have you on your way before you know it.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Morning Drop-off:
We have two drop-off areas for you you choose from. You can drop your student off on the side of the building or at the back of the building.
The side drop-off is the lane closest to the school. You will pull up to the end of the awning and your child will walk down the covered ramp, into the building.
The outside lane will bring you around to the back drive where your child will walk down the sidewalk, into the cafeteria. Please use one single lane when you pull around to the back.
Although the lines look long, the process goes quickly. Please encourage your child to have all of their belongings ready to help keep the drop-off moving smoothly. There are staff members located in both areas to assist your child get into the building safely.
After school pick-up:
Students in grades K-2 will be picked up on the side of the building, using the lane closest to the school.
Students in grades 3-4 will be picked up at the back of the building, using the outside lane that will bring you around to the back.
Younger siblings will be picked up with the older sibling. For example - if you have a kindergartener and a 3rd grader, you will pick both up at the back of the building.
Please have your student's pick-up card displayed in your car window.
