MESSAGE FROM THE ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL
It's time to fall back once again! Even though we gain an hour this weekend, please make sure everyone is getting enough sleep! I know the change throws me off for a few days, so I'm sure our students will be a little thrown too.
We had a very successful Ohio State Test PRACTICE writing test yesterday. The data from this test is only for teacher and student use to focus instruction before the official test in April. It has also been a fun spirit week here as we closed out our spooky celebrations and are heading into the season of Thanksgiving.
Next week, the 4th graders will be taking the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT). There are three parts that will be taken on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please make sure students are charging their Chromebooks at night so they are fully operational each morning. More information below.
Next time you talk to Mr. Tomco, please congratulate him on the great honor of presenting at the National Conference of the Association for Middle Level Education with Dr. Klein!
Have an excellent weekend!
Tracy Paroubek

The CogAT consists of three different measures, verbal, quantitative, and non-verbal that measure reasoning skills. We will test one battery each day on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, next week. Each test should be completed in under an hour.
