Putting Principles of Design into Practice
Introduction
Begin Project: Monday, April 10
Project Due: Thursday, April 13 at the end of class.
You will receive 2 grades for this (1 for logo, 1 for business card) and each of them will be a MAJOR grade in the grade book.
You will also have two separate turn in boxes for each part of the project.
About The Project

You will use Google Draw to first design a logo for yourself, then take the logo and put it on a business card design that you will create on a new document in Google Draw.
Part 1: Design a Logo
Name the document: [name]Logo
Use the document linked below as your template for the Logo. Make a copy of the document and move it to your Tech Apps folder.
Guidelines:
-Use NO MORE than 2 fonts
-Use NO MORE than 3 colors
To TURN IN:
-Download your finished graphic in a PNG format
-Switch to your Drive tab and go inside your Tech Apps folder
-Drag the downloaded PNG of your logo into the Tech Apps folder in your Drive
-Copy and paste a link of your PNG into the Turn in box in Edmodo.
Your logo can be all text or a graphic that represents you! ex:
Part 2: Design A Business Card
Make a copy of the following document in your own Google Drive. Move the file to your Tech Apps folder.
Guidelines:
-You must include your logo on your business card
-Use NO MORE than 2 fonts
-Use NO MORE than 3 colors
-You must follow the Principles of Design! (think CARP)

-Name of Company
-Name of person
-Contact Information:
-phone number
-address (do not use your REAL one)
-Website (no www needed)
-email
-twitter or Instagram Handle
To TURN IN:
-Download your finished graphic in a PNG format
-Switch to your Drive tab and go inside your Tech Apps folder
-Drag the downloaded PNG of your logo into the Tech Apps folder in your Drive
-Copy and paste a link of your PNG into the Turn in box in Edmodo.
