FROM THE HEADS OF SIXTH FORM
Dear Parents,
Last night the Sixth Form held their Summer Ball at Lilliebrook Manor at Cox Green, a beautiful setting for an elegant evening. Over 120 students and staff enjoyed a delicious dinner, dancing and the opportunity to reminisce. Photos to follow - a great time was had by all.
Next week we will start the process to elect our student leaders for the next academic year. Candidates have the opportunity to present their manifesto to their peer group and staff at the hustings next Friday morning.
Next week is the last week on timetable as the following week is enrichment week, when we will be registering students on UCAS and apprenticeships.org, learning how to present a good application and building a good personal statement. Other activities involve learning about the criminal justice system through a mock trial, how to manage finances and a social day sailing at Summerlease Lake. The programme for enrichment week will be given to students and published in the bulletin next week.

HAVE YOU SEEN OUR NEWS
Musical Evening
Music is thriving in our Sixth Form.
After the excellent evening at Senior Girls last week we have enjoyed another great evening on Tuesday at Senior Boys. There were were solos from Ethan Bates on saxophone, Alastair Roberts-Rhodes on trumpet and James Roach on clarinet. A star item was the staff choir including our very own Mrs Rogers, and there is no doubt that the inter-house music competition added interest to proceedings. We await the results from Mr Carr. The Music Technology group provided professional help with the sound and lights. Mr Roach has asked us to pass on his special thanks:
'Can I thank the Year 12/13 students who performed and/or helped with sound at the SB concert last Monday. James Roach, Ed Axtell, Alastair Roberts - Rhodes and Ethan Bates you were all great!. Special thanks must go to Zac Sanders who not only helped but let us 'borrow' his sound system for the evening. What a star!'
We would like to thank Mr Roach as well!
ROWING
'Boys quad raced well yesterday and made it through after a well delivered race against Westminster. They race today at 5:50pm against Abingdon.... Try to get over to Henley to give them a shout it you can, if not it will be on the HRR YouTube channel and BT sport.'
Congratulations and we are all avidly following the action and look forward to helping them celebrate a great win.
Make sure you watch it live here
