All Children Eat Free

The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced this week that all school meals for children will be free through December, 2020. Because of this announcement, school meals will no longer be charged to a student’s account. All meals will be free to any child under the age of 18, regardless of ability to pay. Children do not need to be present for a parent to pick-up a meal.

For information on how to access free meals, please visit our website. Meals are delivered to select locations Monday-Friday. No meal service will be provided on Monday, September 7 due to the Labor Day holiday.

Google Meet Technical Problems

Google Meet users globally have experienced technical issues this week. Google for Education is aware of the problem and is working to resolve it. If students are experiencing technical issues that prevent them from logging into a class, they will not be marked absent, and classwork due dates will be extended as needed.

No Student Attendance September 18

District 15 will be utilizing an ISBE-granted E-Learning Plan Day on Friday, September 18. There will not be student attendance or instruction on this date. During this time, teachers will be learning how to implement instructional technology tools GoGuardian and Zoom.
