Valley High School Update
Demonstrating the Valley Standard in the 4 A's
September 30, 2022
Greetings Valley students and families,
Now that September is completed and we transition to October, conferences are taking place the next two Tuesdays. Tiger Talks are Tuesday, October 4th from 3:45-7:45 PM. These conferences are arranged by teachers. Tiger Snapshots are Tuesday, October 11th from 4:15-7:45 PM and are the arena style conferences when all parents are invited to the building to meet briefly with teachers.
Students are put in the best position for success when school and home are working together in a partnership. The Family Engagement committee at Valley wanted me to convey this thought; "Thank you for the work families do each day to lift up their students. We aim to amplify the work families engage in with their students through partnership in the learning process."
Go Tigers!!!

To celebrate the first of the 4 A's (Academics), Academic Awards are taking place Monday, October 17th at 7:00 PM. Students who earn a 3.4 GPA both semesters in the same calendar year in at least 5.5 classes are eligble for the award.
