YOU put the "P" in PTO!

Getting involved in your child's education is an experience to remember! Whether it's volunteering at an event, helping at school during the day, or helping with things from home, your time and assistance are what puts the "P" in PTO! Our mission is to support and enrich the experience of our staff & students, but we operate solely on volunteers. Many hands make light work, and we happen to also have a lot of fun doing it! In this day and age of a multitude of commitments, we value any time you can offer in any way that you are able. Your kids will think it's pretty cool too! We hope that you will consider lending a hand to make the 2020-2021 school year amazing!

The class in each grade-level with the highest participation has won a PJ & Popcorn Day! The class with the highest participation in the school will be choosing a name for the lobby area which will be displayed on a banner for all to see!

A giant WELCOME to all of our new PTO Members, and as always, we THANK YOU so much for your generosity & support! 🐾💙🐾

Your support allows us to provide all of these important things... THANK YOU!

While fall looked a little different at LSE this year, our amazing staff rose to the challenge with a PTO-sponsored pumpkin decorating contest! Entries were displayed in the lobby and photos included on a Google Form which all students (in-person and remote) received and used to vote on their favorite pumpkin!

In 3rd place was Unicorn Magic by 1st grade’s Mrs. McMaster! Second place went to the Just Hatched T-Rex decorated by Mrs. Prieber of 3rd grade. The winner of the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, was Baby Yoda, decorated by Mrs. Stiles of 2nd grade!

Many thanks to our amazing staff for your creativity and awesome pumpkin decorating skills!

Dr. Doll (Superintendent) & Dr. Heffler (Asst. Superintendent) will be joining us to give a presentation on what's happening in the District, and will be available to answer some questions that you may have. Please take advantage of this great opportunity to hear District information first-hand.

We will also share what's going on behind the scenes at LSE and what we are working on for 2021! We are not requiring pre-registration for this meeting, as we have special guests and want to be sure that everyone can join at any time.

We hope to see lots of you there!

Attention friends, neighbors, local Queso-lovers, and LSE family!! Everyone loved this so much the first time we did it that we decided to bring it back!

We are hosting a Moe’s Southwest Grill Popup on Friday, November 20th! We know that prepping for the holiday week ahead can be exhausting, so here's a fun way to end the week and an easy & delicious dinner! This means you can take a night off from cooking while supporting our school PTO at the same time! For every kit sold, $5 will be donated to the LSE PTO which will be used to help purchase spirit shirts, library books, student supplies, yearbooks and much more!

Moe's is offering a Family Taco Kit with your choice of chicken, ground beef, ½ chicken & ½ ground beef or vegetarian, along with all of the "extras" (see flyer for all included ingredients). Cost for your entire meal is $34.99+tax.

This is a fun, convenient way to have dinner ready to pick up right in the neighborhood and see (from a safe distance) some friends and family you maybe haven’t seen for a while, even if it’s just for a minute. Take a much-deserved night off from cooking and order a family night of tacos! Show your school spirit!

How to Order:

1. Place your order by 10:00am on Friday November 20th. Fill out this form to submit your order.

*Be sure to choose “LSE PTO 11/20” when choosing the neighborhood you are picking up from

2. Pick up will be along the front entrance to LSE (169 North Main Street) between 5:30 and 6pm on Friday, November 20th. When picking up your order, just stay in your vehicle, give us your name, we will bring your order right to your vehicle and you are on your way.

Please feel free to share this with family and friends in the area (you do not have to attend LSE to order!). Thank you for your support and we hope to see lots of familiar faces on Friday, November 20th!!

Each year, the PTO purchases a spirit shirt for every staff and student in the school. We are excited to share this year's shirt below! Our t-shirts are at the printer and we hope to have them in the next few weeks! In-person students will bring their shirts home (when they arrive) and we will make arrangements with our WRL & Cyber students to pick up your shirts as well.

We will also be opening a small store with both youth and adult spirit shirts (both short sleeve and long sleeve), as we know many parents like to purchase additional shirts for their student(s) and themselves!

We can't WAIT to see all of our LSE friends in their new shirts! They are PERFECT for our Wildcat Wednesdays! :)

Please click the button below if you'd like to order (limited inventory is based on what we currently have available.) We have these items in hand, so there is no end date or waiting period.

Masks are in the same store as Membership Drive at this moment (scroll to see them).

SCHOOL/CLASS DIRECTORY (You must enter your child for her/him to be included!)

Some of you have already registered on the website and signed your child(ren) up for the Class DIrectory... thank you! While we will not be using PTBOard as our information website this year, we will still utilize it for our LSE Classroom Directory!

First, you will need to register on the website. Once you are registered, you can add your student(s) and are able to change/correct your information at any time throughout the year. If you would like your child to be included in this resource, you will need to follow the steps below.

Once you've set up your account, please follow these steps:

1) From the Home Page, click on the tab on the left that says "Student Directory"

2) Click on "My Student"

3) Click on the GREEN "Add a Student" button on the right

4) Select your student's grade and teacher, and add his/her information

5) Click "Show in Directory", save and you're all set!

Once you've added each child, they will show up on the site and you can then download by class, grade or the whole school. If any of your contact information changes at any time, you simply go back into your account on the website and update your information.

Please remember that for privacy issues, all members who join hang out in the "pending" file until we have verified that they are a parent of a student that is registered at LSE. If your file doesn't show up immediately, it's b/c it's in the "pending" file and we will approve it as soon as we've confirmed that you do belong to LSE :) The safety of our families is very important to us.

Additionally, the Directory is optional. Should you choose not to include your students' information, that is totally fine as well! We hope that those who chose to utilize this tool find it an easy way to connect with friends and LSE families!

Register account (2020-21school code WYY38J), click "Student Directory", "My Student", green "Add a Student" & enter your child's info (do this for each child) You must check the box "Show in Directory" in order for the student to appear!

Just a friendly reminder that many PTO activities and events require volunteers to have their clearances on file with the district. Information and instructions for completing these requirements can be found here:

While volunteers are not currently permitted in the buildings, we are hopeful that this will change by the end of the school year. Taking care of this part now will allow you to help with school needs/events as soon as we are given the "green light"!

We very much appreciate all of the parents who have already submitted their clearances. Without parent volunteers, the PTO couldn't do all the great things we do for our school!

A note about our new newsletter format...

We have switched to an online-based newsletter format, which will allow you to easily access direct links to information and is more user-friendly. We hope that you find this streamlined format useful and easy to navigate.

In an effort to keep our content more relative, we are no longer including our Treasurer's Report. If you would like to view the Treasurer's Report for a specific month, please email and we will be happy to share that with you (pending approval at our bi-monthly PTO Meetings)
