M.C. Escher
M.C. Escher was a very famous graphic artist. He was born in the Netherlands. Escher was going to school for architecture but only a week after he started he decided he was going to go to school for graphic art. the reason he was so famous was because he learned to use architecture, perspective and impossible spaces to fascinate people.another cool fact about him is that he is left handed.Some of his drawings use tessalations.
Transformations that can be used to create tessalations
One transformation you can use to create a tessellation is the translation. A translation is just a slide in any direction. The other transformation you can use to create a tessellation is the rotation. A rotation is simply a turn to the left or right. These are the only two you can use to create a tessellation.
