Dear Pioneer Families,
Spring is in the air today. This is the time of year when we get to watch the Earth come back to life with the greens and vibrant colors blooming all around us. The warmth of the sun fills us with energy and enthusiasm to be outside.
I am seeing so much progress in our students. As we wrap up this third term of the year…I know, can you even believe that we are almost through this year, I want to encourage us all to carry on with the energy that spring will bring. We need to continue strong.
March 2nd is Read Across America. This day occurs on children’s book author Dr. Seuss' birthday.
It is recommended that your child reads for 30 minutes a night. Research shows that it benefits early childhood development and reading comprehension later in life. Thank you for your continued support!
DID YOU KNOW?
March always begins on the same day of the week as February in non-leap years, and it also begins on the same day as November. March always ends on the same day of the week as June.

Superintendent's Message
Dear Panther Families,
It’s hard to believe we’re already making our way into the Third Trimester which means that we are on the downhill slide to summer break. Although the end of the year is close, we still have some pretty amazing things planned for our students this Spring.
Mark your calendars for April! We will be hosting a virtual MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) meeting. This is our annual Title I meeting, inviting our parents into the planning process of our MTSS program. I encourage your attendance and look forward to hearing your suggestions as we work to make Pioneer the best little school around! A link will be sent out closer to the event.
I hope that everyone has a wonderful March!
Sincerely,
Melissa Schnitzmeier

Panther PTA News
Hot Lunch Wednesdays and Pizza Thursdays have been an outstanding success again this year. A special THANK YOU to Mrs. Wynn Powell for taking on the role of "Lunch Lady". Your lunches have been AMAZING again this year!
Thank you to everyone who continues to support our Panther Dinner Night Out events. On March 1st, we kick off our spring fundraiser. We're asking for your help in selling cookie dough! This is one of our largest grossing fundraisers each year and plays a crucial role in allowing us to provide our teachers and students with all of the support they need throughout the year. We appreciate your help in making this another success!
Ever wonder where the money from these fundraisers goes?? See below!
