The fall weather is finally here...sort of! Of course, after the heat we had this summer, any cool down is welcomed! As we wrap up our first full month of school, I'm looking forward to a semester of fun-filled learning, exciting parent events, and Hemmenway magic! Kroger Community Rewards Donation: From May 27, 2021 to August 26, 2021 with 109 households participating, Hemmenway received $250.44 in total donations. Please consider linking your Kroger Rewards card to Hemmenway Elementary School. After logging into your Kroger account click on Community rewards. Enter our NPO number, EP414 and click enroll.

Due to the overwhelming number of lunch visitors, we will be implementing a monthly lunch signup sheet. If you would like to have lunch with your student, please fill out the attached form. We ask that you only sign up for 2 days a month to allow other parents an opportunity to visit with their student. The form will also ask you to input your driver’s license or ID number in order to expedite the sign-in process.

As a parent of a student at a campus receiving Title I funds, federal law allows you to ask for information about the certification, college major, and advanced degrees of your child’s teacher(s). You also have the right to request information about the qualifications of a teacher aide or paraprofessional providing direct services to your child.
