Dear Mustangs,

I truly can't believe we just completed our last full day of school! Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us!!! Their smiles, hugs, and even those days of problem solving with them make what I do each day a joy. Coming to work for something you love is the best!

Your support this year is so appreciated! Teaching children requires the full team...child, parents/family, and school staff!! Together we make an "A" Team!! Thank you for all that you do!

Bringing school to an end is bittersweet. The joys of student success but the closure of a school year filled with learning and adventures just causes a few watery eyes with smiles of what is to come.

I do wish you the best! Please continue to read with your child or children. Have them write note cards or journal about trips, and, of course, play outside! Design a fitness plan in which you and your child exercise together. We want to continue to grow our minds in a healthy and fit body!

Travel safely and enjoy the summer!

Yours truly,

Jan Fickling, Principal

Mustang Fest Refund Option Information

Please read the following information and if you pre- purchased wristbands for our Mustang Fest you will need to print and return the refund option form with your choice of the 3 options available. Please click on the button tab below to view and print and you may return these to our main office.

Dear Parents:

You are receiving this letter because you have pre-purchased wristbands for Mustang Fest. Unfortunately, inclement weather effected both our event day and our backup day. Although it broke our hearts to have to cancel the event for this year, both calendar and vendor constraints will not allow for the event to be held before the end of this school year. Due to space constraints, we also could not accommodate an event of this size indoors.

In order to (1) hopefully alleviate further weather concerns and (2) so no one has to wait another entire year for the next event, we will hold Mustang Fest in the fall of school year 2018-2019 (date TBD).

In the meantime, we would like to offer three options to you.

We will offer you a full refund.

We will gratefully accept your wristband purchase as a PTO

donation which will be put towards Mustang Fest in the fall.

We will hold your wristbands until the event in the fall when we

will distribute them to you. If you are unable to attend the event in

the fall, we will refund your money at that time.

Please check the box for the option you choose. For those that choose refunds, those will be disbursed to you in the next few weeks. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. If you have any questions, feel free to email us at

Thank you,

The Midway PTO
