Yes, waves do affect the organisms that live in the Coral Reefs. The reason for this is because of tides and currents. They carry nutrients around with them. They move around a lot and they can be very strong at times. Because of this, all of the little animals or creatures/organisms move around a lot and it can be too much which will possibly cause some damage in/to them and/or around the organisms.
