School Counseling Services
Counselors are essential educators and mental health professionals in the school system. We are growing graduates by teaching educational, career, personal, and social development at all ages!
Personalized Counseling continues for students! Remember, this year I'm meeting with each student through individual meetings. This is a special time for students to tell me about themselves, their strengths, and their goals for the future. I've had the privilege of meeting with every student from 2nd-5th grade thus far! I even started with 1st grade this week! I've learned so much about them and I'm excited to continue growing our counselor to student relationship. Make sure to ask your child about their 1:1 with me!
Great 8 Skills for Daily Living: Relationship Skills
A child's consistent performance of socially acceptable actions that promote and maintain positive connections with others.
This last nine weeks we are learning more about creating and maintaining healthy relationships with friends and family! I teach these lessons in the library, so if you visit and see me with a class you'll know what they are learning! I'm so thankful to collaborate with our amazing librarian, Mrs. Ducan, in teaching these SEL skills!
