FRIDAY SHOUT-OUTS!
There are lots of positive things happening at BHS! Each week, the faculty and staff at BHS nominate students and other staff members to receive a shout-out for doing good things that make BHS a great place!
- Mrs. Tyson is so impressed and proud of the Advanced 10th grade English crew for their Final Project Presentations. Way to use the power of your voice!
- Kudos to Mr. Flook for doing such a great job organizing senior awards!
- More senior award shoutouts! As always, Mr. Baust is the best MC around! Mrs. Smith did an awesome job keeping the guests and students moving. Mr. Dwyer gets a big thank you for photographing the award winners and recipients! And last, but not least, Mrs. Proffitt - thank you for putting together the programs and for all of the behind the scene help!
- Mrs. Pecher would like to give a big shout-out to my Spanish 3 students for reading to both the elementary school kids and the Life Skill kids. Bien Hecho. Also, gracias to Mr. Baust for Fish Fridays! Mr. Baust with the double shout-out this week! Woohoo!
- Congrats to the students in Mrs. Kelley's piano class who put on a recital for their families! Some of these kids have NEVER performed in front of people and were very nervous, but all did a fantastic job! Students involved were Ariana Aguilar, Benton Jackson, Nereyda Gastelum, Gabi Corson, Alanna Beckman, Jenna Hartman, and Ben Rivera.
- All who helped make our first Iron Canner event for the football team successful last night. Special shout out to Mrs. Showers for helping with all the math, Mr. Strine for announcing all night, and to all of the players who were willing to participate and help out. Also thank you to all of those who attended last night, because of all of your generous donations we will be able to write a check for the Upper Adams Food Pantry for over $200!!! GO CANNERS!
- Special thank you to all of you over the course of this year who have taken the time to submit shout-outs! It has been something that I look forward to putting together each week! A great reminder that there are many fantastic things happening in this building and we are impacting our students each and every day in a positive way!
