What Does Black Lives Matter Really Mean?
Why #blacklivesmatter isn't #alllivesmatter
- Some people have tried to counter the #blacklivesmetter movement with #alllivesmatter
- Their reasoning is that they think that #blacklivesmatter is saying only black lives are important or are part of the problem
- Yes, all lives do matter, but the Black Lives Matter is pointing out that black folk are being killed for no reason except being black and it needs to stop
