August 22nd 2022

Last week we welcomed new teachers to FPMS. Throughout the week, our new staff learned about our curriculum, strategies to engage learners, and the ins and outs of Forest Park. We are extremely excited to have a group of such talented educators join our school community.
During one session in particular, staff learned about what it means for students to engage in the multiple complexities of their learning. Specifically, teachers aim for students to be able to transfer learning into new situations. To learn more about transferable skills and why it is important, please feel free to check out this short article.
I look forward to an amazing school year,
Jenna

Registration for ATHLETICS is now open! Please visit this site to register your child for one of our athletic teams!
If your child is interested in participating in cross country, girls basketball, poms, or cheerleading, please make sure to get them registered NOW and upload a current/valid physical form. Practices/ tryouts for these sports will start on September 6 and athletes will not be able to participate if they do not have a current/valid physical form uploaded with their registration.
