Martellaro & Grobe

This Month's Service Project Has Taken On A Life Of It's Own !!!

We are so excited about the work that our kids are doing!! This is soooooo impressive and inspiring! So far we have collected 362 items to donate to the Samaritan Inn!!! I am taking my son shopping this weekend to bring in more items. Keep them coming!

Math Happennings

Our first CML meet will be on Nov. 18th. The kids have been working really hard trying to solve these problems! I am really excited to see the results!

This week we continued working on division. We are learning it a little differently than we were taught in school. We are relating division to multiplication by taking out groups of the divisor.

Next we will be hitting problem solving involving all operations.

In case you missed it here is an example of how we are learning division at school:

Science Happenings

The kids did very well on their Science District Assessment! I am very impressed! We also explored camouflage by hunting for "insects" and seeing what color we caught the most of. So fun!!

We will be starting a new unit next week about Matter and Energy.

Take a peak at our classroom Calendar!
