Think about this picture and statement about a RESPONSIBILITY FOR GROWTH...
FIRST Robotics students learn responsibility for growth when they have to make adjustments because things didn't work the first time. Responsibility for growth teaches us to overcome small failures to reach your overall goals.
If there is a group that understand growth in this building, it is the robotics team and coaches. In a few short years, this group has worked to almost completely overhaul how the program runs. The team works through an unbelievable number of challenges as they build their competition robot. As they are building, they find that ideas always have room for improvement and that they can always find a way to overcome these obstacles if they are willing to accept feedback and take ownership for their mistakes. This team has a bright future because of their willingness to accept responsibility for their personal and team growth.
