It can also delete some of the data on your computer or corrupt the file you try to use. It can use your email program to spread it self to other computers. The worst thing it can do is delete everything on your hard drive.

The computer viruses are normally transferred from person to person by through an email attachment. That or through instant messaging. They can also be transferred through spam. They can also be created through mobile devices.

Never open an email attachment unless you know who it is from and you are expecting it. Update your computer when it needs to be updated. Also have a firewall or virus protection software downloaded to your computer. Avoid suspicious websites and set up automatic scans.
