St. Damian School
Lancer Home Connection
Welcome!
Students, faculty and staff are very excited to go home for the Thanksgiving Holiday next week. Students will be dismissed at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 26, 2019. But, not before the 2nd grade class plans and celebrates their Thanksgiving ParaLiturgy at 10 a.m. with the school. We invite all to join us for our Para Liturgy.
Those of us at St. Damian wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving as you rejoice around the table with your families and friends.
"Angels Among Us"
In celebration of our Archdiocesan theme, we will be sending paper angels home. We ask that each school family decorate their angel together and send it back to us with a ribbon to hang on our Christmas tree during this season. Catherine's Gardens has kindly donated a new tree for us and Miss Buche's family has donated a Nativity scene. We could not be more thankful for the "Angels Among Us."
Giving Thanks!
First Graders did a great job of sharing with the school what they are thankful for this season!

Megan Prendergast Visits St. Damian School
Our primary and intermediate students had a visit from a author to read and discuss her book, Included. Included is a heartwarming story that aims to teach inclusion, kindness, empathy, and compassion. It expresses that although other kids may appear to be different on the outside, what is on the inside is what matters most.
St. Damian School
