Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music is a music school in Ramat Hasharon.
Rimon School of Jazz and Music offers a unique approach to teaching music, which combines Since the beginning of the training the theoretical aspects with the practical part. Activity grenade focuses on practical subjects and playing different learning levels and an academic center for musicians from all over the country in the fields of jazz, rock and light music.
Contests and projects
School take place practical projects and competitions, designed to allow students to experience practical work (playing, composing and rendering), with teacher guides and a professional music producer.
Admission
The student must pass three auditions: a theory test, practical test includes playing a personal interview and a test rating tool.
History
The Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music was founded in 1985. It is Israel's only school for jazz, R&B, bebop, rock, and pop music. It has 300 students, and many of its graduates have gone on to become well-known music professionals and performers.
The school is run 2014 by Moshe Sinai, from 1990 until 2014 was run by the processor and saxophonist Amikam Kimelman.
