Solang Valley
Solang Nala or Solang Valley is a beautiful hill side valley on the top of the Kullu Valley. It is a popular ski resort and here few ski agencies provide facilities and training for parachuting, paragliding, skating and zorbing. During the winter time, Solang is visited by huge number of tourist for skiing and as the summer welcomes this valley, Skiing is replaced by Zorbing.
Rohtang Pass
Rohtang Pass is the most popular tourist place in Manali. Located 51 kms from the hill town, Rohtang Pass offer the most spectacular view of the snow covered mountains, glaciers and astonishing view of the mountains even coming out of the clouds. Once Rohtang Pass was the ancient trade route and crossing the pass on foot by Himalayan standard is not that too difficult. But the un-predicted snowfall, blizzards and the snowstorms make it a dangerous for travelers. This pass is opened from May to November.
Hadimba Devi Temple
It is the most popular holy temple located delightfully amidst the evergreen natural surroundings. Dedicated to Goddess Hadimba, this holy temple located in the Dhungri Van was eracted in the year 1553 and is said to have a link with the great Indian epic Mahabharata. It is believed that after escaping from the Wax house, unhurt, the Pandavas came to the territory of Hadimba Rakshash. Later one of the Pandvas Bhima fell in love with Hadimba, the sister of the ruler and for a year they stayed here and gave birth to a son, which later we came to know with the name Ghatotkachh.
