PBIS Updates!
As you know, we are a P.B.I.S. (Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports) school. Students are given "Caught being good" slips when they are "caught" following behavioral expectations. Each week, one student per grade level is called down to the office to receive a prize from cart (students are randomly chosen). The slips that are left are put in the "NES Shark Tank." When we reach a level in the tank, the children are treated to a special assembly! The tank is getting close...and a special assembly is being planned for November!
Note: We are looking for a parent to join our P.B.I.S Team. We meet once a month from 8 am 9-am. Contact Ms. Wilson if you are interested!
Be sure to check out curriculum links on NSS Homepage!
Grab and go breakfast continues at NES!
We have an average of over 30 students a day who participate in the grab and go breakfast program. The students come in and line up at our special breakfast "station." Then it's off to class so that no instructional time is missed! The breakfast program is available to all (free, reduced, and full pay) students and can be charged to student's lunch accounts just like lunch is done.

The Bleachers arrive...in many pieces!
Getting closer......
All done and here is our beautiful new gym with the bleachers and refinished floors!
Please....
Do not send in any candy for students to share with friends or at class events. We have many food allergies in our school and need to ensure all students are safe. Please keep this in mind as we get closer to Halloween.
