Nature Hill's Weekly Family Newsletter - November 6, 2019
The Cold Weather Is Here!
Nature Hill students go outside for recess when it feels like 10 degrees or above... if the temperature or wind chill takes it below 10, students will stay inside.
Please send your student in winter gear! They will need coats, hats and mittens/gloves to stay warm! Students who wish to play in the snow must also have boots and perhaps snow pants. Our health room cannot provide every student with dry, warm clothes if they play in the snow and get wet.
Online Attendance
Parents, please use the new online attendance feature for FUTURE absences for you student - never SAME DAY absences.
Same day absences should still be either called in to our attendance line - or a note can be sent with your student and handed in to the office. Either way, we will get your child a pass that permits them to leave the classroom at your designated time.
Thank you!

Stay Warm... Help Others!
The Nature Hill Spanish Department is having a "Fenomenal" fundraiser to raise money to send to Puerto Rico to help families there who are still without electricity and have minimal food because of Hurricane MarĂa.
Maria was a deadly Category 5 hurricane that devastated Dominica, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico in September 2017. It is regarded as the worst natural disaster in recorded history to affect those islands.
Our department is also raising money to support our holiday celebrations for Spanish students. So, why not purchase a cute T-shirt or sweatshirt to support our cause?
You can make a purchase through November 18.
