Pirate Plunder Fall 2019 - JOIN US!
Mark your calendars for a completely AMAZING night with your family and friends at LSE.
Pirate Talk
1. Please dress for our crazy Missouri weather.
2. We love having all of our students at school, but if they are running a fever or have been vomiting, please keep them home. They need to be 24 hour fever and vomit free before coming to school. Thank you for helping us keep all of our LSE Pirate Family healthy.
3. We encourage everyone to take part in our 12 days of Holiday Celebration...we want to have healthy and positive fun at LSE!
4. Our Super Snack after school program is growing at an amazing rate, but we need to make sure all students understand the snacks have to be eaten in the Commons or at their approved after school activity. Food is not allowed on the buses.
5. With our teams being involved in tournaments/matches over the next couple of weeks, please check your emails and EventLink for leave times and times of games/matches.
Happy first week of December!!
DECEMBER IS HERE!!
Look for MORE activities to come!
THANKFULNESS
Academic Achievements - Finals are coming
LSE's goal is to help our students achieve an overall proficiency of 60% in Math and ELA.
Semester 1 Finals will be held Dec. 18-19...please plan accordingly. The full schedule will be sent in the next newsletter.
Super Snacks
The program is free to all students and staff as long as the snack is eaten on school property. Each day there are after school activities, we will continue to provide this opportunity.
This includes any athletic practice or game, tutoring, Science Olympiad, Honor Society, StuCo, Yearbook/Media, and any student who walks home (as long as they stay in the Commons to eat their snack).
Late bus riders have also been able to take part in the program - as long as they are finished before their bus arrives.
Students have been FANTASTIC about following the expectations and cleaning up. We're very proud of them!
Thank you to Teresa Twenter, kitchen manager, and her staff for preparing and serving these SUPER SNACKS each day!

The Pirate Way Expectations
The Pirate Way - Be respectful, be responsible, be your best.
Each common area of the school has been outfitted with our PIRATES expectations for behavior in those areas. We continually reinforce and reteach those expectations. We hope you will take a minute to come in and see the expectations displayed or will look at the attached posted for our common areas.
