Topics include Nettrekker, Cobb Digital Library, Common Sense Media, Netsmartz and how to protect yourself and students while harnessing the power of technology. SMARTer Engagement with Windows 10 - Beginner

Description: Do you need an introduction to Windows 10 or SMART Learning Suite? Come learn the basics and create resources to use in your classroom! We will explore the exciting new elements of Windows 10 and the Smart Learning Suite where you can creatively engage learners using SMART lab. Please bring your CCSD issued laptop.

Description: Do you pick up new technology quickly? Then, you should attend our Intermediate Level session. Come and learn new ways to maximize the powerful Windows 10 platform and engage your learners with the SMART Learning Suite. We will explore SMART lab, and Math Tools at an accelerated pace that is just right for you! You will have the opportunity to create resources for your classroom. Teaching strategies will be shared to engage students in both locations, and hands on practice with using the CISCO Telepresence equipment. Become a Microsoft Innovative Educator in a Digital Age Classroom

Description: Be an education change agent and join us for a Microsoft Innovative Educator (MIE) Academy! Embrace a growth mindset and explore Microsoft Office 365 for Education technologies such as OneNote, Class Notebooks, Sway, and Office Mix combined with various digital age classroom elements that will transform student learning. The course will align to Georgia Standards of Excellence, ISTE Student Standards, and include hands-on activities that will leverage technology use in the classroom. Each participant will leave the academy with useful ideas and tools they can implement in their classroom. Successful completion of this course will lead to becoming a certified Microsoft Innovative Educator. Please bring your CCSD issued laptop.

Digital Age Classroom Boot Camp

Description: Learn how to harness the power of elements of a digital age classroom to facilitate learning that engages students in higher order thinking tasks that foster communication and collaboration. Can this be done without losing your sanity? YES! Some tools that will be featured in this course include Office 365, Edmodo, LearnZillion, Screencasting, and Socrative, as well as a variety of other classroom friendly Web 2.0 tools. Please bring your CCSD issued laptop.

Description: Explore the advanced features of OneNote Notebook and Class Notebook. Get your courses and yourself organized with OneNote; the electronic three ring binder. Learn how to use OneNote for communication and collaboration with both student-to-student and student-to-teacher tasks. This is the perfect course to support your journey toward enhancing your Digital Age Classroom! Please bring your CCSD issued laptop. Note: This course meets Face-to-Face on Thursday, June 8 from (8:30 AM - 1:30 PM) and asynchronously on Friday, June 9 online.
