BOOK FAIR IS COMING NEXT MONTH...

Mark your calendars for our November book fair. Class PREVIEW days will be November 13 & 14. SALES days will be November 17-19. Bring the whole family to shop from 4:00-6:15 PM on Monday, Nov. 17 for our Family Evening Event. Stay tuned for more information in the weekly PAW Print.

SC Book Award Challenge

Just a reminder that prizes can be claimed any time after a reading goal is met! Students keep track of titles read & reviewed (on a form provided by Mrs. Matney) and have a parent or teacher initial beside each completed reading goal. Show the form to either Mrs. Matney or Mrs. Bootle. We will stamp it and give the sheet back to the student. For more information on this voluntary reading program, visit the Picture Book Challenge for grades K-2, or the Children's Book Challenge for grades 3-5.

Featured App: Shadow Puppet EDU

Shadow Puppet EDU is the featured school-wide app this fall. Use it to create talking photos, videos, and slideshows with your voice! For more information on this focus app, visit https://www.smore.com/0n66.

The Media Center will have a grade level Box Tops for Education contest October 20-31. Save your Box Top UPC’s to send in during that time. The Media Center receives 10 cents from each UPC. Last year we collected over $3,000 in UPC’s. For more information visit www.boxtops4education.com.

Labels for Education is a great way to receive free merchandise for our school. Cut the UPC with the Labels for Education logo from participating products and send them in to the Media Center. Lists of the participating companies are available at http://www.labelsforeducation.com/Earn-Points/Participating-Products. What a wonderful way to recycle trash!
