Want to learn about and participate in a variety of innovative citizen scientist activities by collecting and submitting data about local flora and fauna using mobile devices and related websites? If so, visit Lenawee County this summer for a morning of learning and discovery! Bring your smart phone and wear your outdoor shoes. Explore data, share ideas, determine possible projects for use with students, and plan for implementation during the 2015-2016 school year.
- Dates: Choose either July 10 or Aug. 24
- Time: 8:30 AM - noon
- Place: Lenawee ISD Fireside Building, Adrian, MI
- Target audience: General and Special Education Teachers, Gr. 3-12
- Cost: Free for Lenawee County educators, $20 for out-of-county folks
- Credits: Approved for 3 SCECHs
Notes: Bring your smart phone, good footwear for the outdoors and be prepared for some data collection in local parks (rain or shine). We will be afield for a least 90 minutes.
