  • Please continue to keep your child home if they have any symptoms of illness. If you are not sure in a particular situation, please keep your child home on that day and call the school nurse for guidance on whether you can bring your child to school or not.

  • Medications are not kept at school over the summer for next school year. Any medication that is not picked up will be destroyed per district policy. Parents of each student who has medication in the health office will need to call and make arrangements to pick up that medication.

Why join PTA?

The Pershing PTA advocates for the students and teachers of Pershing Elementary. This organization supports Pershing teachers through classroom grants, back to school gifts, providing meals during back to school and parent-teacher conference times. Our PTA provides funds for class field trips, and hosts many family events.

It costs $10.00 to join PTA. You are not obligated to donate your time just because you sign up. This small amount of money quickly adds up to support our small school. Grandparents and other family members are welcome to join and support the PTA! Each dollar goes toward Pershing Elementary.

Our Pershing PTA would love your involvement as much as you wish to help. This is a great way to show your child you support their school.

If you wish to know more just ask a PTA Board Member!
