OES Vision: Building Foundations for Every Students' Success
Shout-outs:
- A huge shout out to Kelly and the kitchen crew for helping with the iMoms breakfast. They went above and beyond by taking time from their day to give back to the families at OES. You are all greatly appreciated and I’m so thankful for all you do. Thank you Kelly and crew! You’re awesome!!! Justine Davis
- Terri Scheidecker - She did a HUGE amount of work to keep RTT up and running and get the last of the assessment taken care of as well as preparing for AIMs testing. I had no idea there would be a family health emergency last week and so had nothing prepared in advance and nothing organized. She went through EVERY student folder and listed all missing assessments and got everything ready for she, Ronda and the teachers to complete. We’d be a week behind schedule if she hadn’t done that. She’s really amazing! Teri Reed-Houck
Need-to-Knows:
- Every day during the last week of school will be a jean day.
- The "My Gift to You" sheet will be attached to the focus. If you have a student who has a BSAT plan tier 2 or 3, or a student that has a point sheet or other modifications to their education, please fill it out and provide a sample of the point sheet or other tools that are used. It can be placed in Kelli's mailbox before you leave for the summer. It will be passed along to the incoming teacher before the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
- Yearbooks will be passed out to teachers on Tuesday. Your team will decide when the students receive them.
- If your team/class heads outside this week, please take your cellphone with you so you can be reached if needed.
- Reminder that if teams are meeting over the summer or curricular work is being done to revise your BT calendar, I will need your revised calendars by June 15th.
- Make sure you let either Ryan or Kelli know what you will be doing with the fundraiser money your team received.
- The 2019-2020 schedule was going to be attached to this email; however, there are still some tweaks being made. If you have any questions, please see Ryan or Kelli to see it.
- Reminder there is a retirement celebration at the conclusion of the staff meeting on Tuesday, may 21st.
- The volunteer breakfast still needs some support from our staff in order to be successful. Please consider donating your time.
- Don't forget the senior walk will be Friday the 24th at 10:45. Consider having your class/students make signs for the seniors as they begin their journey post high school. They really enjoy the fanfare.
