It's Not Too Late to Register!
For the 2015-2016 school year, children must be 5 years old by September 1st, 2015
Parent Waiver Option:
lf the child is not eligible for enrollment per the guidelines specified above and will be five years old by December 1, 2015, the child’s parent or legal guardian can apply for a waiver to enroll their student in school.
Waiver information are as follows:
- When in receipt of a waiver, districts can make recommendations to the child’s parent or legal guardian, as to the child’s readiness for school, and whether or not the child should be enrolled early.
- Regardless of a district’s recommendation, the parent or legal guardian retains the sole discretion to enroll their child.
Kindergarten Waiver Request forms are available in the Elementary School ofñce. If you have any questions please Contact Mrs. Drexler or Mr. Downey at 796-2201.
Sno-cone Social
Mark your calendars for September 2nd from 4:00-7:00pm for the annual Sno-cone Social. See the class lists, tour the school, meet your teachers, get your class picture taken and see some people you haven't seen in awhile! Plus there will be food and beverages provided by the PTA.

K-12 Music/Band Director
Mr. Chouinard comes highly recommended and has worked with students at all grade levels K-12. He also has experience building and developing music and band programs.
Cardinal Club (Latchkey) Director
Mrs. Duprey has experience working with preschool students as a GSRP associate teacher and possesses an Early Childhood Endorsement.
Office Aide
Mrs. Rozanski has experience working in an office and around the elementary as a parent and member of the PTA.
Special Education Paraprofessional
Mr. Weingartz has earned a degree in Psychology and has worked at the Lapeer County Health Department with children and adults.
Crossing Guard and Recess Aide
Mrs. Voss is a parent with children at both buildings and will now be helping us to keep all of our kids safe.

It's been a busy summer!
Thank you to the Village of Dryden for repainting our new crosswalk out front. Students will still enter through the main front door by the office but will cross the street at a much safer spot.
Thank you PTA for helping to spruce up the school with some drywall repairs and fresh paint! The building looks great!
Thanks to Josh Lewis (Big Ox Tree Service) for making our tree out back safe.
