In Appreciation
They Protect: Decisions are made others deem unfair, ridiculous, or uncalled for, without being privy to the whole story. Pride is set aside and confidence is kept.
They Stay Knowledgeable: Professional development isn't a five day summer thing, it is an everyday thing. The students quality of education and well being is the utmost importance, so awareness is crucial.
They Have Your Back: When situations or disagreements come up, they listen to the entire story, give constructive advice, and find the means to provide the teachers with tools needed to be successful. *Keep in mind, patient reminders may be necessary, as they are being pulled in so many directions! We all know how it feels.
Friendly reminder quotes: Is it a problem or an inconvenience? Is it a now, or not now, problem?
This Could Go On Awhile: There are too many words for this small newsletter to inform or remind the tremendous load these individuals have "signed up" for.
So: The next time you see Willis, Abbott, or Rhoades hanging around late after school, at a game, or even in the hallways, be sure to say hello. Their spirits need be appreciated, nourished, and refreshed like the rest of us.
